Increasing Trust and Performance
in Human Resources
An internal HR team consisting of professionals responsible for recruiting, payroll, industrial relations, OH&S, talent management and internal business partnering, were facing challenges with poor communication, low levels of trust and conflicting priorities.
Facilitation of a High Performing Team Workshop to align the team under one purpose, and to build a deep level of understanding of everyone’s working style. The workshop comprised work-preference profile to provide the group with a deep understanding of each other’s communication styles, decision-making approaches and preferred methods of work.
The team communally defined their common purpose statement. A deeper understanding of each other’s strengths and weaknesses led to role enhancement for individuals. A deeper level of trust was established allowing teams to engage in constructive conflict, provide feedback to one another on interpersonal and professional issues, agree to all team decisions.
